The breeding program here at Caer Avallach Farm is kept small purposefully so that each and every foal born here is handled daily and receives a strong foundation right from birth.

We currently have two broodmares on the farm, Quillane Tica and Woodlands Best Dresssed and have retained Avallach's Heir Apparent as a future broodmare for our farm.

Woodlands Maggie Mae was the foundation mare in our breeding program and produced four fantastic foals byour stallion, Avallach's Irish Whiskey. Two of her foals, Avallach's Irish Rose and Random Chance (pictured below at Devon), represented her in the 2002 Devon Horse & Pony Show Produce of Dam class in which they were awarded second place. Both also won individual ribbons in their classes.

Quillane Tica is the daughter of Maggie Mae by the Welsh Section B stallion, Tamarack Quill. She had a beautiful bay filly by Whiskey in May of 2005 who is now showing in CT under the name Avallach's Coco Chanel with owner Gia Sarkis of Shallowbrook Farm.

Woodlands Best Dressed ("Cami") is the newest addition to our breeding shed and arrived in foal to Meadowbrook's Special Edition. The result was a beautiful chestnut colt with lots of chrome named Special Edition ("Pancho") foaled in April 2008. Pancho is a lovely three year old now who is a phenomenal mover and has a terrific work ethic. He was started under saddle in the spring and simply blew us away with his natural flowing stride and lovely attitude! This one will be one to watch in the future! Cami has an exceptional temperament and is one of the easiest mares to have on the farm. She can be turned out with anyone, rides the trailer like a pro and is often used as babysitter supreme for the youngsters.

Currently Cami is in foal to *Telyneau Royal Charter for a May 2012 foal.
